Nature of Adjective

Adjective in nature: See 9.1.1.3.1 Agreement with Nouns they Modify and 9.1.1.3.3 Function of Adjectives.

Function of pas:

Pas functions possibly as the (direct) object of the transitive infinitive “to keep” or as an adjective of the transitive infinitive “to keep”.

Uses of pas

Uses of pas.[53] Note: since the phrase that follows is anarthrous, we are not concerned about the predicate or attributive positions. Further, since the following phrase is plural, we are not concerned about the special meaning, every, which is associated with pas used with singular nouns.

Meaning:

All, every, or all things

Syntax:

Panta agrees with its antecedent (tareiv) . Panta
